LAMÈQUE – The 2018 Annual “Wave of Wellness” Campaign organized by the Fondation de l’Hôpital de Lamèque Inc. was officially launched this morning.
A financial target of $40,000 has been set this year. The money raised will allow equipment to be purchased for the following areas: medical sector, clinical services, Appointment and Walk-In Clinic, Miscou Health Centre and medical imaging sector. It will also improve the hospital’s spiritual care and support the regional hospital’s major campaign.
“I am proud to be able to tell you that every donation to our Annual Campaign will be entirely invested in our region, for you,” affirmed Yoland Chiasson, Chair of the Fondation de l’Hôpital de Lamèque.
The ceremony was also an opportunity for the Foundation to announce the first participants in the campaign: employees of the Lamèque Hospital and Community Health Centre, Ville de Lamèque, Gabriel Haché Ltée, Amateur Show by employees of the Lamèque Hospital and Community Health Centre, Northern Star Campaign – UNI Coopération financière, Valentine’s Brunch, Island Fishermen Cooperative Association LTD and Christian Larocque Services Ltée.

Since 1987, its volunteers have been unrelenting in their efforts to ensure that all our communities obtain excellent services. The mission of the Fondation de l’Hôpital de Lamèque Inc. is to raise funds in support of the Lamèque Hospital and Community Health Centre’s service improvement priorities and help it meet our community’s changing needs.
