LAMÈQUE – The 9th Amateur Show featuring former and new employees of the Lamèque Hospital and Community Health Centre was held on April 2nd.
The event raised $3, 644 for the 2016 Annual Fundraising Campaign of La Fondation de l’Hôpital de Lamèque Inc. The objective of the campaign is $40,000. The purpose of this year’s campaign is to improve various sectors of the Lamèque Hospital and Community Health Centre such as the Medical sector, the Appointment and Walk-in Clinic, and the Medical Imaging sector, as well as to contribute to regional projects.
“Tonight is proof that former and new employees have their health facility at heart and it is very rewarding and motivating for them to see that the community is there to support them year after year!,” said Shelley Robichaud, Director of the Lamèque Hospital and Community Health Centre.
