LAM\u00c8QUE \u2013 The results for the 2016 Annual Fundraising Campaign of La Fondation de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Lam\u00e8que Inc. were announced this morning in the cafeteria of the Lam\u00e8que Hospital and Community Health Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year, the financial objective for the campaign was set at $40,000. The funds raised will help to improve the Medical area, the Appointment and Walk-in Clinic, and Medical Imaging as well as to support some regional projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ceremony was an opportunity for the Foundation to highlight the dedication of volunteers and the contributions of various donors and to announce the final result of the Annual Campaign. \u201cWith the community\u2019s support, we raised $75,011! Many thanks to everyone for participating in our region\u2019s \u201cWave of Wellness\u201d movement. \u201cI encourage you to pursue your annual efforts to develop our health facility,\u201d stated Yoland Chiasson, Chair of the Foundation\u2019s Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For her part, Shelley Robichaud, Director of the Lam\u00e8que Hospital and Community Health Centre, explained how the Foundation\u2019s work was impacting her facility. \u201cThe Foundation is an important ally in developing and maintaining the health care services offered by our health facility. Thanks to the new acquisitions made possible by the Annual Campaign, we will be able to prevent illnesses and injuries, improve the quality of preventive care and medical care, and provide patients with new services.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In short, the overall objective for the Annual Campaign was set at $40,000 while our final result was $75,011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The mission of the Fondation de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Lam\u00e8que Inc. is to represent the community and raise funds in order to maintain and improve the health care services provided by the Lam\u00e8que Hospital and Community Health Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
