\n\t2017 Annual \u201cWave of Wellness\u201d Campaign Launched<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\tLAM\u00c8QUE \u2013 The 2017 Annual \u201cWave of Wellness\u201d Campaign organized by La Fondation de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Lam\u00e8que Inc. was officially launched this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\tA financial target of $40,000 has been set this year. This money will be used to purchase equipment for the Laboratory, Medical Unit, and chronic disease treatment services, as well as to support our regional hospital\u2019s major campaign ($10,000). \u201cThe Fondation de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Lam\u00e8que plays an important role in the care and services provided at our facility,\u201d said Shelley Robichaud, Primary Health Care Director for Vitalit\u00e9 Health Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\tThe ceremony also provided an opportunity for the foundation to announce the names of its first partners:
\n\t\u2022 Staff of the Lam\u00e8que Hospital and Community Health Centre;
\n\t\u2022 Town of Lam\u00e8que;
\n\t\u2022 Northern Star \u2013 UNI Coop\u00e9ration financi\u00e8re;
\n\t\u2022 Island Fishermen Cooperative Association Ltd.;
\n\t\u2022 Christian Larocque Services Lt\u00e9e;
\n\t\u2022 Village of Ste-Marie-St-Raphael
\n\t\u2022 Shoppers Drug Mart of Lam\u00e8que and Groupe Belle-Ile Inc.

\n\t\u201cContributing to our foundation\u2019s annual campaign is much more than simply making a donation. Your generosity will directly impact the quality of care and services delivered to our patients. We hope that the generosity shown by the partners announced this morning will encourage others to follow suit,\u201d said Yoland Chiasson, Chairman of La Fondation de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Lam\u00e8que Inc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\tThe mission of La Fondation de l’H\u00f4pital de Lam\u00e8que Inc. is to raise funds in support of the Lam\u00e8que Hospital and Community Health Centre\u2019s development priorities in order to meet our community\u2019s changing needs effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
