This means that more than a hundred trees were illuminated\ntonight at 7 p.m. in front of the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Enfant-J\u00e9sus RHSJ\u2020\nHospital, Lam\u00e8que Hospital and Community Health Centre, Tracadie Hospital,\nCampbellton Regional Hospital, Grand Fall General Hospital, H\u00f4tel-Dieu\nSaint-Joseph de Saint-Quentin and Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital. Several people\ncame out to attend the ceremony and to dedicate a Christmas tree in the name of\na person or group of their choice in return for a $200 contribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe lighting of the Christmas trees is an important\nactivity during the Northern Star. It allows us to take a step back and\nappreciate everything around us, while remembering those who have left us or\nhonouring a loved one. By illuminating the entrance of our hospitals, we are\nalso creating a warm atmosphere for patients, their families and the staff,\u201d\ndeclared Chantal&nbsp;Mallet, Northern Star Campaign Chair for the Chaleur\nregion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This unifying project was made possible thanks to a\npartnership between the eight foundations above and UNI Financial Cooperation.\nSince 2005, the Northern Star campaign has allowed us to raise in excess of\n1&nbsp;million dollars, which has been used in Vitalit\u00e9 Health Network\nhospitals. It is important to point out that 100% of the funds collected from\nthe community will go toward improving the region\u2019s health care services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mini-trees are still available at UNI points of service and in some businesses in the participating regions.
