All the\nfunds raised during the activity will go to the foundations so they can meet\nthe needs of their respective facilities. \u201cOn behalf of everyone who will\nbenefit from the various enhancements to our hospitals, I wish to thank you for\nyour participation and to assure you that your donations will make a real\ndifference for health care in our regions,\u201d explained Dre. Christine Duclos,\nCo-Chair of the Northern Star for the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation.\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For just over\ntwo months, people were invited to get mini-Christmas trees available from UNI\nand various businesses. Once again this year, the Northern Star was a great\nsuccess; we were able to see each of our communities rally behind the cause.\n\u201cEvery year, UNI is proud to be associated with this cause that brings many\ncommunities together toward a single goal, namely providing people with the\nbest possible health care. Remember that the donation you make is essential to\nmaintaining the quality of health care in our respective regions,\u201d&nbsp;stated\nHermel Chiasson, Community Director for UNI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Northern\nStar is up to its fifteenth annual event and has raised over $1 million since\nits beginnings.
