{"id":2712,"date":"2021-11-09T13:47:44","date_gmt":"2021-11-09T13:47:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fondationhopitallameque.ca\/?p=2712"},"modified":"2021-11-09T13:47:45","modified_gmt":"2021-11-09T13:47:45","slug":"the-lameque-hospital-foundation-has-the-wind-in-its-sails-long-time-donors-announce-their-commitment-to-the-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fondationhopitallameque.ca\/en\/the-lameque-hospital-foundation-has-the-wind-in-its-sails-long-time-donors-announce-their-commitment-to-the-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"The Lam\u00e8que Hospital Foundation has the wind in its sails: Long-time donors announce their commitment to the campaign!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lam\u00e8que, November 9, 2021<\/strong> \u2013 The fundraising campaign, whose objective is to raise $300,000 for the development of the Family Medicine Unit (FMU), continues and once again the partners are responding to the invitation.\u00a0 The chairperson of the Board of Directors, Mrs. Norma Aubut, and the members of the Board of Directors are pleased to publicly introduce the following donors who have agreed to support this priority project for our establishment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Christian Larocque Services Lt\u00e9e &#8211; $25,000 <\/li><li>Restaurant Au P\u2019tit Mousse &#8211; $25,000<\/li><li>P\u00eacheries Belles Iles Fisheries Ltd &#8211; $10,000<\/li><li>Ville de Lam\u00e8que \u2013 $10,000 <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Several spaces and rooms have been named after\nthese donors to recognize their support. Thanks to these partners, the campaign\nhas already reached 83% of its objective and other donors will be announced in\nthe coming weeks.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt is very encouraging and motivating for\nthe staff of the establishment to see this support from the community. This\nsupport will allow us to improve the services and care we can offer to the\npopulation,&#8221; said Ms. Shelley Robichaud, the establishment&#8217;s representative\non the Foundation&#8217;s Board of Directors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A campaign that responds to urgent needs<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lam\u00e8que Hospital &amp; CHC FMU is staffed by five physicians, three\nnurse practitioners, and nursing and administrative support staff. The\nexpansion will improve patient and staff comfort and access to primary health\ncare for the community. Health care professionals will be better equipped to\nprovide enhanced services.
