January 31, 2022 \u2013<\/strong> In\npartnership with UNI Financial Cooperation, the nine Northern New Brunswick\nHospital Foundations are proud to announce that the sixteenth edition of the\nNorthern Star Campaign raised a record amount of over $128,754<\/strong>! All\nproceeds from the campaign are donated to the various participating foundations\nso that they can address the health needs in their respective regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This latest edition is a perfect example\nof what we can achieve when we have a community behind us! The generosity of\nthe community was once again evident, resulting in a new record amount for this\nannual campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The partnership of nine foundations with UNI\nclearly demonstrates that by working together our communities can achieve great\nthings. Each year, the Northern Star Campaign, which we proudly support, shines\non our hospitals in the northern of the province. Our employees, who are\ncommitted to this project, continue to contribute directly to its success. The\nminiature trees, which are the symbol of this campaign, have decorated the\nwalls of our points of service to show the support of the people in our\ncommunities for the foundations,” explains Joyce Roberts, representative\nfor UNI Financial Cooperation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“A donation to the Northern Star is an essential\ngesture to the quality of life of our people here by making a difference to the\nhealth of all of us. It is a gesture that goes beyond money, it is a\ndemonstration of your support for all our patients who are facing illness and\ngoing through difficult times and for our health care personnel who are\ncommitted to the health care of our people. I would like to sincerely thank, on\nbehalf of the patients and health care staff, all the donors who have supported\nus in order to continue to make a difference for health care in our\nhospitals”, explains Dr. Marilyne Boss\u00e9, Chairperson of the Chaleur Region’s\nNorthern Star. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
