\u201cOn behalf of La Fondation de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Lam\u00e8que Inc., I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our volunteers, donors and partners for their exceptional dedication throughout 2024. Together, we have once again demonstrated the strength and generosity of our community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 2024 campaign, supported by 708 donors and the unwavering commitment of volunteers and partners, raised $93,718, greatly exceeding its goal of $49,150. These funds contributed to the purchase of essential equipment such as a geriatric chair, an electronic blood pressure monitor, a wheelchair, and mobile ergonomic benches, improving the daily lives of caregivers and the comfort of patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Flagship events such as the Northern Star, the Roses Radiothon (with the women’s ATV rally and Walk 1\u00a0km in My Shoes), and the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign in Shippagan have helped support the purchase of specialized equipment, bring comfort to patients, and maintain spiritual care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Foundation awarded $3,169 in bursaries to two staff members for specialized training. These bursaries will enable employees to develop new skills that will directly benefit patients and the entire team, thereby enhancing the quality of care. The monthly donation program continues to grow, providing stable support for local initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your contributions have generated tangible results thanks to careful allocation: $5,948<\/strong> \u2013 Patient care (18%); $12,562<\/strong> \u2013 Diagnostics, treatment, and follow-up (38%); $10,000<\/strong> \u2013 Regional projects (30%); $4,563<\/strong> \u2013 Other regional projects (14%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
